About Signing Up for our CSA Program

When you sign up online using CSAware, a secure member profile is created for you with your share options, your pick-up location, and your account activity. You can view and edit your account, change your pick-up location, payment info, or password, and place your share on hold during a vacation.


At the Farm Stand we accept CSA payments in the form of cash, check, Visa and MasterCard (check and cash are preferred). Alternatively, you can pay through your CSAware member dashboard. We do not store any of your personal or financial information on our website. Our order site is run through CSAware and your information is stored securely using Authorize.net.

When you sign up for a share that does not auto-renew, take care to keep your balance positive and communicate with us to prevent subscription interruption. You will receive reminder emails when your balance is getting low, and your subscription will be canceled when you have a $0 balance if payment is not received by the order deadline for the next scheduled pick up.

Picking up Your Share

When you pick up at the farm or at a drop-off location please bring a bag or box for your share. If you pick up at a drop-site location, look for the plastic tote with your name on it. Transfer the contents to your own bag, and leave the empty tote with the lid off. Please keep drop-off sites tidy. Please remember to pick up your share, or have a friend or family member do so.

  • Farm Stand: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Thursday
  • Santa Rosa @ Benton Street JC area: 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday
  • Santa Rosa @ Yulupa Ave: 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday

Trading an Item in Your Share

A benefit of farm pick up is the ability to trade items that you do not like for credit at the Farm Stand. For example: if you want to trade potatoes from your share, you would tell the person at the front counter, who would tell you that potatoes accounted for, say, $3 of the total value of your share for that week. You would then have a $3 credit to spend at the Farm Stand. Keep in mind that CSA members are charged at a significantly discounted rate as compared to Farm Stand prices, so trade values may seem low.

Missing Your Pick-up

If you know you are going to miss your pick up you can put your account on hold (please see below). If something last minute comes up and it is not possible to suspend your share in time ask a friend or neighbor to pick it up for you. Shares not picked up by the following day may be automatically donated and you will be charged (call us and let us know if you are coming the following day so we don’t donate before you get here). If you miss your pick up you can feel good that your share didn't go to waste.

Vacation and Suspension Holds

You may put your account on hold by logging into your CSAware account and making changes before your order deadline. For example, if your scheduled pick up day is Thursday you must log in and make changes by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday. If your pick up day is Tuesday you must log in and make changes by 11:59 p.m. on Monday. Your account will not be charged while your delivery is on hold.

Changing Your Pick-up Location

If you want to change your pick-up location, please log in to your CSAware account before your order deadline, or ask us to do it for you.


Tierra Vegetables communicates with you via email on a regular basis to inform you of a payment or to remind you of a scheduled pick up. Sometimes we will need to send out alerts about your order or inform you about happenings on our farm. By becoming a member of our CSA, you are agreeing to open and read all email communications as soon as you see them since much of the information is time sensitive.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time, giving us at least 2 days notice before your pick up day by calling us at 707-544-6141 or emailing us at csa@tierravegetables.com. All cancellations with a remaining credit balance will be issued a gift card to spend any time in our Farm Stand store. Please request a return email confirming your cancellation.

Holiday Changes

We will give you plenty of notice about holiday date changes.

We do not sell, rent or give out our email list, customer list or any personal or financial information to anyone. EVER!
